Dr. Lhamo Kyi grew up in Toronto, Canada, where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto with a double major in Biology and Psychology. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry, completing medical externships with a strong focus on ocular disease treatment in New Jersey, Florida, and at the Veteran’s Hospital in Jamaica Plain, Boston.

Dr. Kyi continued to practice primary eye care in a private practice in Queens, New York, where she managed pre- and post-operative care for a diverse patient population.
Now residing in Kingston, MA, Dr. Kyi has been seeing Dr. Grant’s patients since July 2024. She is dedicated to delivering the most comprehensive eye exams and high-quality care to both existing and new patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Kyi enjoys reading, learning about philosophy and Buddhism, cleaning, and going on long hikes with her family.
